Description

The Odeon Cinema was designed by Budge Reid of Harry W. Weedon's Practice; the decorative panels on the walls of the auditorium were designed by Mollo and Egan. The cinema opened in July 1937 and was renamed the Focus Cinema after being taken over by Brent Walker in 1975. Focus Cinema closed in May 1983 and the building was demolished in September 1983. The date of this photograph is not known; it was likely taken betweeen 1970 and September 1983.
