Description

The print is annotated with Godstow and the number 7 on its reverse, the latter matching an entry in Taunt's registers. The image is very similar to another taken by Taunt in 1870 - CC73/00437, but is likely to be later since the vegetation is somewhat more developed and a new fence along the river has replaced one in disrepair in 1870.
