Above the doorway is a poster advertising the sale of the Shortgrove Estate, near Saffron Walden. The sale took place on Tuesday June 25th 1889.

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
