This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.

Annotations on the back of the photograph attribute it to A H Wire, thought to actually be Alfred P Wire (see E J Rudsdale letter dated 16 August 1944 in the NBR correspondence file).
