Description

The timber framed Church of St Nicholas was located close to Hazeleigh Hall. By the early 20th century it was disused and was demolished in 1922.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.

Received via E J Rudsdale 17/08/1944. Annotations on the back of the photograph attribute it to A H Wire, thought to actually be Alfred P Wire (see E J Rudsdale letter dated 16 August 1944 in the NBR correspondence file).
