Description

The oak panelling, dating from 1520, was removed from the house and transported to America where it proved to be the outstanding feature of an exhibition of English Gothic oak carving held in New York in 1923.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
