Description

Inside the shop is a partly-obscured playbill for a cinema on King Street, advertising a number of films, with 'In Pursuit of Polly ' (1918) and 'Sweet Lavender' (there were two films of this name, in 1915 and 1920) as the main features, and additional features including 'Beach Nuts' (1918) and 'It Pays to Exercise' (1918).

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
