Description

The Fountain is dated from circa 1900 to 1910, by Waldo Storey. It is made from marble, with gilt bronze figures. The winged mermaids and dolphins support the quatre foil-shaped bowl. In the centre there is a woman holding a gilt crown. The fountain forms the centrepiece of the East Formal Gardens in Blenheim Palace.
