Description

This image is believed to have been taken before the alterations that commenced in 1910 to 1911. The building during this time was used as business premises for solicitor Charles Alfred Pryce. The area is referred to as Helenstowe. On the bottom of the image there is also reference to a photographer called J. G. Brewerton, whose business was located on High Street, Abingdon.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.

On the print it states "J. G. Brewerton, High Street, Abingdon"
