Description

Parish church built in 1793, by Samuel Pepys Cockerell. It was to replace the former parish church which had been demolished by 1793, after suffering extensive damage during the English Civil War. The tower and portico were added in 1818-22 by Charles Robert Cockerell. Internal alterations commenced circa 1858-9. Classical Style.

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
