Description

Under the print it states that the photo was taken around 1910. The Reindeer Inn or Hotel dates from the 16th century and was later remodelled in the 18th century. Within the Reindeer Inn there is the Globe Room, a later addition to the west wing. The Globe Room dates from 1637. The room had a great mullioned and transomed window of stone (later rebuilt in wood). It consisted internally of one great room with a garret over, the former containing fine panelling and a plaster ceiling having broad enriched ribs and much other decoration.
