Description

This print is on the same card as OP29815 and OP29817.

Coleshill House, now demolished, was completely gutted by fire in 1952. It has been built around 1660 and was occupied by the Pleydell Bouverie family. The house played a role in the Second World War as it was requisitioned by the War Department to become the top secret training headquarters for the British Resistance or Auxiliary Unit.

The lower left corner of this print has been ripped off.
