Description

This print is one of four (OP29910 - OP29913) which are attached to the reverse of the mount for OP29909 and which were all published as part of the Daviss Series.

The River Thames in Oxford is also known as Isis, as, historically, some have believed this to be the correct name for the stretch of the river between its source and the site it meets the River Thame at Dorchester-on-Thames. On the print the view is identified as 'Isis. From Folly Bridge, Oxford'.
