Description

The water-powered corn mill was destroyed by fire in 1908.

The River Thames in Oxford is also known as Isis, as, historically, some have believed this to be the correct name for the stretch of the river between its source and the site it meets the River Thame at Dorchester-on-Thames.

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
