Description

The Magdalen Brigde was rebuilt in 1772 - 1777, to the design of John Gwynne. In 1882 - 3 it was widened using Taynton Stone.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.

The photograph was accessioned by the National Buildings Record on 19th October 1957.
