Description

The present house dates from c1618 and was built on the site of an Augustinian Priory, founded in 13th century. It is now owned by Fairleigh Dickinson University, based in New Jersey, USA, and is operated as a residential college for students.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.

The photograph was received by the National Buildings Record on 4th September 1953.
