Description

The original caption reads: "Sculpture by Karin Jonzen at the end of Waterways, South Bank Exhibition, Festival of Britain 1951."

This sculpture was placed "at [the] entrance to [the] Sports and Open Air Section", probably between the Regatta Restaurant and the Sea and Ships Pavilion. It was one of several sculptures by Karin Jonzen to be commissioned for the Festival, and was made of terrcotta coloured plaster.
