Description

The Saddlers Arms public house has since been demolished, but it was located in the vicinity of what is now 47 and 49 High Street.

A note on the back of the print, signed G W Smith, reads 'Milton near Sittingbourne, Kent. In the first house on the left hand, the Son of the Marshes learnt his trade. It is described in his book The Annals of a Fishing Village'.
