Description

The original caption reads: ""Red Lion Brewery, Belvedere Road" by W. Fairclough. One of the pictures commissioned by the Arts Council for Recording South Bank, London for the Festival of Britain 1951."

The brewery was demolished in 1949 and the site was redeveloped for the Royal Festival Hall as part of the South Bank Exhibition of the Festival of Britain.
