The original caption reads: "South Bank Exhibition, Festival of Britain 1951. View from the eaves of the Waterloo Station Gate towards the Fairway Restaurant, the Country Pavilion, and the dome of the Land of Britain Pavilion."

The Country Pavilion is shown in the centre of this photograph. To the left is The Mineral of the Island Pavilion, with County Hall beyond, and on the right are The Natural Scene and The Land of Britain Pavilions.
