The original caption reads: "South Bank Exhibition, Festival of Britain 1951. Interior of the Rocket Restaurant. This interior was designed by Kenneth Cheesman."

The Rocket Restaurant was one of several restaurants, cafes and bars at the South Bank site of the Festival of Britain. It was located at the first floor level of the Waterloo Station Gate.
