The collector has described the image on the rear of the photograph as '3rd storey. The two windows on S. front at back of bed'. He has also recorded 'bought June 1936. This view taken during Colonel Lowther's residence'. The publisher, Wiseman Horner, started issuing postcards in 1931 indicating that even if the photograph is of an older date, the printing of postcard can be dated to between 1931 and 1936.
