Description

The Steven's Almshouses were founded in 1679 by Alderman Thomas Stevens for the economically-disadvantaged widows and daughters of freemen of the city of Bristol. It was damaged during the Second World and has since been demolished.

The lower right corner of the image is marked 'Hepworth Photo'.
