Description

St Werburgh's Church, as it looks in this painting, was located on the corner of Corn Street and Small Street and was built in 1758 after the original church had been demolished. It was demolished again in 1877 but parts of it were reused to construct the new St Werburgh's Church on Mina Road in 1878.

The date and artist of the painting is unknown.
