Description

The building just to the north of Bristol Bridge was formerly St Nicholas' Church (now council offices), and the tower and steeple visible at the north end of High Street are part of Christ Church with St Ewan.

There are a number of hoardings visible on the buildings in this photograph, including adverts for Bovril, Diadem flour and the Empire Theatre.

PC41471 shows the same view but the photograph was taken at a later date.
