Description

Harold Godwinson is believed to have visited the church in 1064, before he left for his trip to Normandy.

The majority of the writing on the postcard is French suggesting that it was manufactured, and possibly sold, in France, but this has not been confirmed.

The tapestry is incorrectly referred to as the Queen Mathilda Tapestry, owing to the once held belief that she was responsible for its creation.
