Description

The Empire Pool was opened in July 1934. It was renamed Wembley Arena in the 1970s. In 2006 the building was renovated. This photograph was published on page 201 of 'Great Lengths: The historic indoor swimming pools of Britain' by Dr Ian Gordon and Simon Inglis.
