Description

The report discusses the excavations which were undertaken to see if the curtain wall continued around the outer wall and to locate a tunnel seen in 1795. The report contains diagrams of Old Sarum, the tunnel and the trenches, as well as some Iron Age, Roman and Mediaeval pottery. There are also some photographs of the excavations.
