Series: Lcc/Glc Stained Glass Collection

Description

The collection is of colour slides arranged by borough or county (view links for site list) and taken from 1988-1989 for the Survey of London then under the GLC. Includes the glass from St Stephen's, Rosslyn Hill by S S Teulon. Church coverage is sometimes accompanied by other supplementary guides and documents. The collection was created as a working reference collection. Not all the slides are individually labelled but are identified by sheet. The collection was not created as a systematic survey but rather was undertaken in an ad hoc way. The collection was deposited via the Engish Heritage Blandford Street Office with the main archive coming from the LMA who hold rights to any prints in the collection. It is presumed that English Heritage holds rights for all the slide material via the GLC.
