A set of nine photographic prints by Mitchell of Croydon, showing houses, shops, a pub, and street scenes in St George in the East, Whitechapel, and Stepney, in the 1870s. Most of the prints are annotated with a handwritten date, and on the reverse with details relating to a plan of St George in the East, but it has not been possible to identify the plan referred to.
