Description
This series contains an estimated 400 lantern slides and 2200 black and white film negatives taken and / or collated by H.M. Taylor. The images show ecclesiastical exteriors and interiors, with emphasis on details like doorways, arches, tympanums and crosses. Most subjects are in England but there are also views of buildings and architectural details in Eire, Scotland, Wales and other European countries. The two catalogues in the papers' series (TAY02/01) provide an index to the negatives. There may be prints of some of the negatives mounted in the files and notebooks in the papers' series.
