Miscellaneous correspondence, photos and reports relating to marine archaeology and the Archaeological Diving Unit. The file contains correspondence from 10 MAY 1985 to 18 NOV 2003 regarding: the deposition of ADU archives after their disbandment and the returning of government equipment, Cattewater Guns, 16th century Spanish wreck off Dartmouth, Lincolnshire coast wrecks,standards of underwater archaeology, Iona II, Lundy Island, an underwater site in Durham, Lyme Bay wreck, Macuquina wreck Peterborough wreck including plans. Also inlcuded is the deed of transfer for the Resolution, press clippings about Streedagh Strand and an advertising poster for archaeological recreational divers in Florida. There are long maritime National Monument Record listings for: Catherine (NMR No. 900573), Venus (NMR No. 900571) and Piedmont (NMR No. 900570).
