Description

An album of 30 pages containing one postcard from the early 20 century and 37 views of the chapel immediately before and during the repairs of 1951 - 1953. There are detailed and general views showing the progress of the renovations and features before they were altered.

The 1948 prints appear to be from one photographic job and have a common job number (A668). They all have the same date on the reverse (18 Aug 1948) but in the album a mix of dates (including 18 Jun 1946 and 18 Aug 1949) were given. The date on the reverse is used in all cases but where there is a discrepancy this is referred to in the scope and content
