Description

An album of 92 pages containing 92 prints. The first half of the album contains exterior and interior views of Towers 24, 23 and 22. Tower 22 is shown during demolition and Tower 23 is shown in a derelict condition. Tower 24 is shown both before and after renovations.

The second half of the album contains views of a new traversing carriage and cannon during their construction and lift onto the roof of Tower 24 There are two sets of print captions which do not state the tower shown, these are attributed to Tower 24 by comparison with other prints. It is possible however that some of the detail views of renovations show Tower 25 which was renovated at the same time as Tower 24
