Description

An album of 41 pages containing 51 black and white photographic prints and 8 photographic postcards showing various views around the abbey. The photographs are mainly Office of Works and Department of the Environment record photography, but include 2 prints produced by the Whitworth Art Gallery, University of Manchester and published in Medieval Architecture and Sculpture in the North West. One of the photographs is a copy of a measured drawing showing the historical ground plan of the site. The postcards are produced by the Ministry of Works.
