Description

An album of 30 pages containing 117 black and white photographic prints and one typescript listing photograph details. All the photographs contained in the album were taken by GB Mason for the National Buildings Record in 1948. Duplicates of almost all of them appear in the NMR Open Access Red Box Collection. Where matches have been located, the prints have been cross referenced with the negatives numbers given on the reverse of the Red Box prints. The prints in the album only give Mason's original numbering scheme. At the end of the album is a typewritten list giving details of Mason's photography at and around Kirby Hall, undertaken for the NBR.
