Description

An album of 25 pages containing 32 black and white photographs showing views around the remains of the Augustinian Abbey which was dissolved in 1538. The photographs date between circa 1910 and 1954. There is also a copy of a measured drawing showing the ground plan of the ruins. Most of the photography was undertaken by various Government Agencies involved in guardianship of the site. There are also a small number of photographs stamped with the name A J Taylor on the reverse.
