Description

An album of 5 pages containing 5 black and white photographs showing the Landport Gate in Portsmouth, the town gate dating from 1760 whose design has been attributed to Nicholas Hawksmoor. The album features exterior views taken in 1975 and showing the gateway from every angle. On the reverse of each print is a Department of the Environment stamp with date and negative number (J492-3-75 to J492-7-75). The contents have been catalogued at album level only.
