Description

An album of 44 pages containing 44 black and white photographs recording sequential points along a length of the Roman walls at Silchester. All of the prints are stamped on the reverse by the Department of the Environment and each is marked with a negative number (A7451/1 - A7451/44). The matching suffix (eg. 1-44) is displayed on a board beside the wall in each shot. None of the photographs has been catalogued at item level.
