Description

An album of 14 pages containing 10 black and white photographs and 9 postcards showing the ruinous remains of the medieval fortified manor house at Spofforth Castle. The postcards are ones produced for the Ministry of Works and the Department of the Environment. The photographs are record photography of the site in September 1951.
