Description

An album of 15 pages containing 15 black and white photographs showing interior and exterior views of Wolvesey Chapel, formerly the chapel of Wolvesey Castle. When Wolvesley Palace was constructed in the 17th century, the chapel was incorporated into its structure, forming the north wing of the new Bishop's Palace. All of the photographs were taken for the Department of the Environment on the 05th April 1972. They show general views inside and outside of the building plus a series of shots in the roofspace.
