Description

An album compiled by the Ministry of Public Building and Works containing 80 pages with 104 black and white photographic prints taken between 1947 and 1956, plus a copy of a postcard dating from the early 1900s. The photographs were taken in 7 counties - Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Kent, Norfolk, Suffolk and Sussex and include images of post mills, smock mills and tower mills. A caption is written beneath the prints along with the date and original numbering scheme.
