Description

Since the Union Infirmary was built in 1897 it has been known by numerous other names: Halifax General Hospital, Halifax Workhouse Infirmary, St Luke's Hospital, St Luke's Military Hospital and The Calderdale Royal Hospital. The file contains a block plan of Halifax General Hospital which includes a key with details of floor area, volume and structural fabric. The file also contains the following photographic prints: BB90/09187; BB90/09247.
