Description

A file containing 8 envelopes of pictures of the fort not included in Albums AL0752 or AL0753. The envelopes are all sets of photographs grouped by the archive creators.

Some of the items in this box are related to those in box FL01007 including postcards and views of the works in the north and east of the fort.

Six of the envelopes contain pictures from around 1980 detailing excavation and consolidation work in the north east corner of the fort and along the north and east walls. The other two contain sets of earlier pictures of the Knag Burn Gate and structures in the fort including the gateways, principia and granarys. Some of these earlier pictures were used for postcards.
