A series of 8 negatives taken for the Ministry of Works showing the teaching of bricklaying methods at a Government training centre in Kidbrooke. The exact location of the site is unknown but it may have been on Rochester Way at NGR TQ4133275786.
The Ministry of Works was the Government department tasked under the 'Temporary Housing Act 1944/1945' with alleviating the acute housing shortages in the immediate postwar years. The original Ministry of Works storage envelope lists the operator as “V”.
