Description

A series of 4 negatives taken for the Ministry of Works showing repairs underway to the St Marylebone Institution which suffered bomb damage during the Second World War. The Ministry of Works was the Government department tasked under the 'Temporary Housing Act 1944/1945' with alleviating the acute housing shortages in the immediate postwar years. The original Ministry of Works storage envelope lists the operator as “F”.
