A series of 8 negatives taken for the Ministry of Works showing evidence of war damage to a house in "Kingston", assumed to be Kingston upon Thames. The Ministry of Works was the Government department tasked under the 'Temporary Housing Act 1944/45' with alleviating the acute housing shortages in the immediate postwar years. The original Ministry of Works storage envelope lists the operator as “J”.
