Description

A series of 2 negatives taken for the Ministry of Works showing evidence of war damage in Thessaly Square, primarily showing the surviving houses 5-11 Thessaly Square. The Ministry of Works was the Government department tasked under the 'Temporary Housing Act 1944/45' with alleviating the acute housing shortages in the immediate postwar years.
