Four black and white negatives taken by the Ministry of Works to show Admiralty housing at Horndean, Hampshire. The negatives all show exterior views of houses on Flag Walk and Aerial Road (now Milton Road). The Admiralty was a British Government department which was responsible for the Royal Navy until 1964 when it replaced by the Admiralty Board. The Ministry of Work was the Government department tasked by the 'Temporary Housing Act 1944/45' with alleviating the acute housing shortages in the immediate postwar years.
Three of the four negatives were catalogued in 2022.
