Volume: Plans and photographs of housing developments (circa 1960s/1970s)

Description

Twenty black and white copy negatives produced for the Department of the Environment showing architects plans and photographs of 1960s or early 1970s housing developments. Most of the developments appear to be local authority housing. Some negatives only show photographic copies of architects' drawings whilst others include a combination of plans and photographs. The Department of the Environment (along with its predecessor bodies the Ministry of Works and The Ministry of Public Building and Works) was the department responsible for government building projects and managing post war housing requirements.
